/drops dead Anyway. This is for  's contest. I decided to do the fool card in the end (no Erin, not you) because I wanted to draw something cheerful. God. Why. I don't even know. The colors killed me even though they suck. I will never, EVER be able to understand the people who can do all this fancy shading stuff cuz I just fail at it. DANG YOU SKILLED BEINGS D:And whoever invented perspective is now responsible for the loss of my sanity. SRSLY GUYS THAT ISLAND WITH THE STRIPES IS JUST FUNKY. And don't look at the tree plz it's retarded. Any comments or crit at all is welcome. I hope we're allowed to edit this before the deadline because I really need help  I also think I have a fetish for scarves or something, I'm always drawing them ._. Edit: hokay I tweaked the island on the lower right a bit. Does it look any better? ;_; |

it's a great pic, the colours are great, the detail is fantastic the background works well and those eyes are perfect

The perspective is a little off, most notably on the floating islands. I don't think you need to worry too much about the character's proportions, though; any little inaccuracies can be chalked up to stylistic choice.
